Our team visited, commissioned and optimized hundreds of extruder units with gear pumps in the late 80s and in the 90s and stimulated front-end developments.
However, consideration for pump generations as well as other pump families resulted in compromises.
Founded in 1999
1999, to pursue our own new paths was our motivation. To be honest, we underestimated the effort of developing a completely new melt pump, down to the smallest detail on the basis of the most modern calculation methods.
Complete new development
State-of-the-art 5-axis CNC manufacturing methods helped us quickly manufacture the extrusion pump components so that only just under a year of testing and optimization phase had to be applied.
In 2000 we were ready.
With heart palpation, the first order with a set of shafts and slide bearings was installed in a 70 extrusion pump in a recycling application.
And it worked !!!

The idea, replacing a rubber extruder in strainer application with a more pressure building efficient gear pump. This to significantly lower the process temperature. Additionally, there was much less compound waste when changing the product or at the end of a strainer batch.
Post consumer plastic recycling.
This is a new method in the recycling stream, to process polyolefins was discovered by one of our customers.
